Kevin Daly

Kevin is head of the Labour Market and Skills Unit in the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation (DBEI). The Unit encompasses the secretariat of the EGFSN and also covers policy matters relating to labour markets and skills from an enterprise policy perspective.


Kevin joined DBEI in 2017 from the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, where he had responsibility for developing and promoting alternative models of service delivery across the public service. Kevin joined the Civil Service in 2012 from the New South Wales Department of Premier and Cabinet, where he led cross-departmental service delivery reform projects for six years. Prior to this he held management and change focused analytical roles in Australia’s largest food multinational. He began his career as a graduate economist in Forfás and an economist in Enterprise Ireland, after completing an MA in Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce in UCD. He also holds an Executive Masters in Public Administration from the Australia New Zealand School of Government.
