We are currently undertaking a study on Design Skills In Ireland. Specifically the study will focus on three design disciplines -digital, product and strategic. These disciplines were identified as areas of focus for Ireland in our 2017 publication ‘Winning by Design’.
The aim of this study is to estimate enterprise demand for these design skills and measure the provision of higher and further education design courses across education institutions. This will include identifying if there is a gap between the supply and demand of design skills in enterprise and recommending a series of actions to bridge any potential gaps.
